This project is based on an existing construction that was built about 1998 but was discontinued due to the client's wishes. The structure was left for over ten years until 2008, when the new owner requested Bavand to design three additional structures in addition to completing the existing structure. Due to the obvious existing structure's orientation, which was about 45 degrees from the street line, other design elements, such as the new office tower, followed the same concept. That is, the new tower mimicked the orientation of the old tower to create a triangular plaza in front of both buildings. Building Functions: In general, this project consists of the following functions: - Commercial - Office - Cultural - Sports centre - Sufficient amount of parking for the complex. - Suitable access to public transportation, main streets and city ring road. - Indoor and outdoor public spaces According to the existing building on the site, this design was the best way to combine these functions next to each other.
